MahoneyAlmost yes. National guard uses ak74m as main rifle land
forces and SOF use m4. Once i've seen m16 at ministery of defence.
WhiteGeorgeThe enemy especially air force will have difficulties at distance to identify the class of vehicles also.
Yes but it is almost orange so in general vehicle will be more visible in common areas (forest mountains) i think so - for airforce is no matter to precisely identify camouflaged target.
YevgenyP- for airforce is no matter to precisely identify camouflaged target.
.... and about Didgori: how many will TAM actually produce ? and do they
actually think about alternative variants like uparmoured or upgunned
like weapons station secondary weapon ( russian anti tank missiles ) or
even mounting some iglas on it. Anybody having informations about ?
WhiteGeorge
As to the standard rifle unfortunately it is not M-4 it is Ar-15 and
whats more I really doubt that in case of another war our guys will use
those toy guns they will still most likely go for Ak-74s.

Otherwise it wouldn't make sence at all purchising and keep purchising
that weapon. This is just the logic of a healthy human mind. If our gov
does think different well .... it wouldn't surprise me .... but I as
military would protest because it's about life and death. I don't know
about anyone else but I would be just worried ....
Sorry for D-Post
The US side expressed its readiness to extend assistance with regard to enhancing Georgia’s defence capabilities
which implies new levels of cooperation deepening existing relations in
the key areas and implementation of specific training and assistance
programs. After the meeting Defence Minister Bacho Akhalaia has stated
with media representatives that from now on the American side will
focus not only on preparation of the Georgian military servicemen for
peacekeeping operations but on enhancing and improving Georgia’s
defence capabilities.

If this is gonna be true and not just some empty rhetorics this
will mark the most important stage in the developement of the Armed
Forces of Georgia since it's re-foundation and reconstruction in 2003.
