Cobra 13 NATO SOF exercise in Poland Page 2

UKSF does not need to send entire SAS/SBS/SFSG squadron(s) to take part in this exercise they could have send several staff officers(from various units) which should not be a big problem for them even though they're soooo busy here and there.

This is much appreciated Ravage

Oh my days...

Personnel deployed to Tarin Kot with the Managed Works Team Four (MWT 4) rely on the men from two 7th Battalion Royal Australian Regiment Task Group Other Government Agency Platoons (OGA 1 and 2) for protection and mobility to visit civilian Afghan contractors and building construction sites. The personnel from the MWT 4 supervise during all phases of construction. Without the assistance from the two OGA platoons the engineering projects could not be monitored or completed on time and the personnel from MWT 4 could not do their important job of assisting with the construction of facilities for the Government and people of Afghanistan.

Good old OGA Platoon I did enjoy my time as an over-qualified security guard haha. Good to see they've got their J-TAC position reinstated.

Interesting.......never heard of an OGA Platoon.

I'm guessing they babysit and support OGA community engagement and capacity building in semi/non-permissive areas?

Flagg

OGA Platoon is made up of Brisbane-based soldiers from 8/9th Battalion The Royal Australian Regiment with a headquarters three infantry sections an engineer section and a cavalry patrol with two ASLAVs.

Norwegian military Picture 63

                       ostias..

i have seen quite some pictures that i wanted to post here but didn't since i didn't ask the mod of the page!

memoli

If you're thinking about posting pics from other peoples facebook page then that might be a bit more problematic seeing as they (to some degree) can restrict who have access to their pics. On the other hand they've chosen to upload photos to the internet and should be aware that their photos very well can spread to other sites. As long as you either ask them or credit them when you post the pics I can't really see a problem with it. Unless we're talking about photos that's been given to you only or if you've been asked not to post them.

Does anyone have pictures of the Royal Guard and/or Home Guard when they were mobilized 22. july? Found some on Google but it's usually the same pics repeated over and over.

it was an article about a police officer that was arrested because he didn't have police ID card or something.
