imagine the cost to replace that ski jump!!!! All British
Harriers are gone so until the new F-35 will arrive there is no a chance
that this carrier can handle any jet aircraft!!!

Why remove it? You'd maybe get an extra landing spot out of the effort and you'd reduce the ship's utility. Not worth the cost.

The aircraft carrier USS Enterprise is underway behind the
guided-missile cruiser USS Leyte Gulf during a transit of the Strait of
Bab el Mandeb in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
An HH-60H Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the Dragonslayers of
