so ur saying that tax cuts for people who didn't "need" them was a
better choice than a timely replacement for the hobart destroyers and
getting the right hulls as opposed to the frigates we are getting now
and buying all 8 awacs that were identified as been needed (and would
have given us benefits from future sales) or spending it on other things

Hello all
BallisticArmy Reserve is a phantom force. It is underfunded in
the extreme and has only funding for 30 days in the year for training
according to forward budget estimates. From what I've heard morale is
non-existent and training has taken a nose dive.
Oh wow I thought that the reason for putting all Army Reservists
through 1ARTC (instead of Puckapunyal for example) was so that they
would become a more potent force (ie. get away from the dad's army
image).
You don't get any potency out of teaching people to march in step
and make their beds with nifty hospital corners. If anything it is a
colossal waste of time and money.

putting off the hobart class AWD signed up to JSF out of the blue and
agreed to mount the wedgetail mesa radar in the to small 737 platform
as well as signed for the original 8 of them the things would be a lot
better now.
Wedgetail meh the Indos aren't coming to get us any time soon 3
AWDs again meh the Canberra class is more important for what we're
involved in regionally and the JSF is the right choice it would just be
nice if the Americans could sort it out and keep the price down.

really cos' last time i checked these rebadged frigates were
selected by the howard government and the way things are going will even
the first will be completed under the next liberal gvrnmnt
