I was there at the seoul air show and I was amazed. The A-10 and
KF-16 had nothing on it and the Slam Eagle could only amaze me with the
shear power.
DoDaaM Systems RCWS and Combat Robots:

First about the rank insignia. I've seen pics of ROK soldiers wearing
their insignia on a variety of places. Officers and senior enlisted
(Basa and up) on their collars or their shoulders junior enlisted on
their arm sleeves or chest pocket flaps (and I've once seen a
ByeongJang wear them on the collar). I'm reasonably sure they were all
from the Army and wearing their BDU shirts.
What's the reason these guys wear their rank on so many places? Is
there a distinction between the officers and senior enlisted who wear
them on the collars and the ones who wear them on their shoulder loops?
Would you also happen to know the meaning of the white marks on the
back of helmets that look like □ O+ and O<< for example?

The green shoulder loops signify that the person is a leader. Squad leader Platoon leaders Company Commanders... etc...

Needless to say it didnt float well with the senior enlisted guys in the
squad bay.... But the dude is a Sgt so he could get away by stealing it
from the new guy.
I think this is the ATGM for use on vehicles like K21 undergoing field test.
^^nice...any specs on it?what is the range and the name of the missile?

i don't know yet. The ATGM's development status is really mysterious.

Only thing I could't shoot.
EO/IR and ELINT pods:
KF-16 is going to have very advanced capabilities with these new pods and the AESA radar and avionics upgrade.
This is great news!!

@Ambassador
does North Korea have the largest artillery force in the world also?
krnofdrg69
In the number of equipment and the amount of shells and rockets
they can fire per minute yes North Korea has the world's largest towed
artillery force.
Ambassador
Thanks in advance.
briantkYou posted I believe on seperate thread the figure of South Korea air defense asset.
It was in the Korean L-SAM thread. The post was lost during the purge.
Does South Korea still use AirLand Battle doctrine? If not what other military doctrine do they use?
