As part of the celebrations surrounding the founding of the re-establishment of the Netherlands as a sovereign state 200 years ago by William Frederick the hereditary prince of Orange the Royal Netherlands Navy Royal Netherlands army and the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee are celebrating 200 years of carrying the predicate 'royal' with various events throughout the country. One of these locations was the Hague also the backdrop for the reenactment of the Prince's landing.
The RNLAF was also represented executing this flyover.
