NATO Maritime Interdiction Operational Training Center-NMIOTC has become the first NATO Training center wich has certificated with the highest NATO certification












Hellenic Air Force conducted today the LIVEX "White Eagle" at the NATO Missile Firing Installation (NAMFI) in Crete during which shots of the S-300PMU-1 air defence system have been held. The Minister of National Defence Dimitris Avramopoulos the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Cyprus Fotis Fotiou and several foreign military attach's in Greece attended the exercise.

Nearly 100 Marines and coalition allies engaged in a prolonged firefight with insurgents while patrolling the area to interdict Taliban movements and weapons caches and gather intelligence around the bazaar.
