transportation across a simulated border. This is the first year Steppe
Eagle exercise is being conducted outside of Kazakhstan allowing the
KAZBAT to validate their deployment capacity to perform peacekeeping

I find it interesting to see all that flashy equipment in the
Turkish military exercises but the units stationed along the Syrian
border dealing with the refugees and the ISIS threat are equipped with
old and beat up personal equipment and old M60 tanks.
