The Belgian troops are part of a quick-reaction Infantry Task Force and is preparing for Exercise Rampant Lion which qualifies more than 1500 soldiers from Belgium the Netherlands Luxembourg Spain and the former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia to work as a task force. The training at the Grafenwoehr Training Area ensures interoperability of systems and synchronizes tactics in communication cordon and search convoy operations and compound security.
