Norwegian military Page 69

                       Arty hunter... AKA Forward Observer?

New buttstock on the 416's?

They look like "A5" stocks

Can somone please provide a detailed description/ Order of battle (How many soldiers and vehicles/types of vehicles) of the following elements of the Panserbataljonen and Telemark Battalion:

Stormeskadron

MarsuitorGotta love literally translated norwagisms... "I can't shoot there's a dog on my lens."

Or maybe more correct FAC RANGERS (?)

NavorKavalerieskadronen

Mekanisert infanterikompani 3 & 4: CV9030N

NavorKavalerieskadronen

May i enquire why you want to know such a thing? What you're asking about isn't exactly top-secret but precise numbers and figures like what you're asking for will in most countries be classified Restricted atleast - and TBH the Norwegian armed forces is no exception despite a somewhat sloppy practice around these things IRL.

Just out of personal interest.

If its to detailed than forget my request.

I find it hard to believe that any serving member on this board would give some guy on the internet up-to-date info on their unit’s strength in personnel and vehicles unless they seriously dropped the ball.

But whatever.. time to post some photos!

Excellent photos! Thanks for posting Vor.

Does anybody know the name of the Body armor that some of the soldiers outside the castle were using during the terror attacks or the same ones(?) seen on the soldiers in afghanistan.

Don't get my question mixed up with the vests like many other forums have done hahha i only want to know the name of the Ballistic vest!

Sniper teams of the Telemark Battalion

Great pics and interesting too... I always thought a DMR like the 417 or M14 was a compromise between an assault rifle and your classic bolt action sniper rifle - eliminating the need to carry two rifles..
