UK kit is still rather popular out in Kenya not only because of close historical ties but because they often get quite a lot of exposure to it what with our basing arrangements over there (in the form of training facilities). The Army itself is i understand also heavily modelled structurally on our own so I�d imagine that kind of modelling preference spreads to other areas also.

DARPA designed the free-flight transition test (FFTT) demonstration to verify the prototype�s flight characteristics and assess subsystem and sensor performance. Designed to launch from both ships and planes such as the B-1 bomber the test vehicle detected engaged and hit an unmanned 260-foot Mobile Ship Target (MST) with an inert warhead.

PACIFIC OCEAN (Sept. 10 2013) A Standard Missile-3 (SM-3) Block 1A interceptor is launched from the guided-missile destroyer USS Decatur (DDG 73) during a successful intercept test. Decatur with its Aegis Weapon System detected and tracked the target with its onboard AN/SPY-1 radar. Looks Iranian to me but I might be wrong..
